Summary

Logistics is the part of Perform.AI that runs the physical side of every order: it selects the carrier, books the shipment and produces the label, offers pick-up and drop-off delivery, and audits what carriers charge against the rates you negotiated. It is not a stage of the shopper’s journey in its own right; it executes Checkout, Post-Purchase and Returns, and protects the margin behind all three.

What Logistics does

There are two different ways to get money back from a carrier. A claim is for a lost or damaged parcel and belongs to Claims Management in Post-Purchase. A cost dispute is for an overcharged invoice and belongs here, in Cost Disputes Management.

The problem it solves

Rate shopping, routing, labelling, invoice audit and disputes are usually separate tools with separate contracts, each holding its own view of what a carrier costs and how it performs. Run in one system, they share one view: the delivery date promised at checkout is priced against what the carrier will charge, a booking failure is fixed where the shipment data lives, and a return invoice is audited against the same rate card as the outbound one.
