AI Decision Intelligence answers questions about how your e-commerce operation is performing, across checkout, post-purchase, returns and the logistics behind them. It watches performance against the standards you set, raises an alert when something moves, reports on what happened and recommends what to fix next. It runs on the same connected shipment and carrier data as the rest of Perform.AI, so there is no separate pipeline to build and no new tool to maintain. Rules, alerts and reports are set up by the people who use them, in the portal, and changed whenever the operation changes.

The problem it solves

Most teams already have dashboards and more reports than anyone can read. The gap is not data. The gap is knowing which of today’s numbers deserves attention, and what to do about it. The first sign of a carrier problem is often a customer complaint, SLA reports are rebuilt by hand market by market, and the report someone needs never gets built because the data team is backlogged. AI Decision Intelligence turns that around: you define what on-time means once, and you are measured, reported, alerted and advised against that same definition.

Features

Performance Aspirations

Set the standard. Define the transit time you expect from each carrier, warehouse or leg of the journey, on your own working days, cut-off times and public holidays. Every shipment is marked compliant or breached automatically.

AI Performance Alerts

Catch the breach. Set thresholds on transit time, delivery success, shipment issues, volume swings and notification engagement. When one is crossed, your team is told, with the likely cause attached.

Business Intelligence

Understand what happened. Reports on carrier performance, SLA compliance, transit time, issues, notifications, returns and cost, built from templates, from scratch or by describing them.

AI Recommendations

Know what to fix. Every day and every week, what changed, why, and the next step to take, broken down by carrier, country and shipment band.

AI Report Builder

Describe the report you want in plain language, review the proposed outline and get a report in your list. Reached from the reports page or through AI Navigator.

AI Navigator

The AI assistant built into every page of the portal. Ask about a shipment, your own setup or how a feature works. Housed here, available across every product.

How the features work together

The rule you write in Performance Aspirations becomes the thing you report on and the thing you are alerted on. Compliance results flow into Business Intelligence as ready-made charts and a report template, into AI Performance Alerts as a dedicated transit time metric, and into AI Recommendations, whose SLA breach rate is calculated from those same rules. AI Report Builder is delivered through AI Navigator, so a report can be requested from any page of the portal and from inside a conversation already in progress: a question about one shipment, then about the pattern around it, then a report covering the whole of it.

For developers

  • Retrieve a shipment returns the Performance Aspirations results for a single shipment through the API.
  • Webhooks deliver the same results in the shipment update payload.
  • MCP overview and MCP tools let your own AI assistant query performance categories, rules, milestones and aggregate shipment data.
