Available to all AI Commerce Visibility customers. Any user with access to AI Commerce Visibility can generate, approve and publish content.

Summary

Content Generation turns AI visibility gaps into content. You select the prompts where competitors are more visible than you, ground the piece in the sources AI assistants already cite for those prompts, review and edit a generated content brief, and then generate a full blog post draft that you edit and export to the channel where you publish. Nothing is written until you approve the brief.

Who it’s for

Marketing and content teams who know where they are losing in AI answers and want to act on it without exporting data and briefing a writer who never saw it. The brief-first flow gives brand-sensitive teams a review gate before any article exists.

Key benefits

  • Prompts are ranked by gap, not guessed. Step 1 lists your prompts with your Visibility, its month-over-month change, your best competitor’s Visibility and the gap between them, so the biggest losses sort to the top.
  • Content is grounded in what the assistants cite. Step 2 lists the sources most often cited for the selected prompts, filterable by AI model. You pick up to five as grounding.
  • A brief comes before the article. The generated content brief, with target topic, prompts, platforms, top cited pages and proposed structure, is editable and must be regenerated to commit changes before the article is written.
  • Every piece is traceable. The Input tab records the prompts, citations, markets and personas that produced it, with clickable citation links.
  • It fits where you publish. Export as Markdown, plain text or HTML. Published is a status you set, not an integration.

How it works

The flow

Content Library > Generate (prompts > citations > style) > Content brief review > Full content > Approve > Published.

Content Library

The library is the record of every generated piece. Status tabs mirror the lifecycle, with live title search, sort, pagination and bulk actions for approve, publish and archive that apply to the current tab.

Step 1: Target prompts

Select a product category (required) and optionally narrow by market and persona. The table lists eligible prompts with your Visibility and its month-over-month change, your best competitor’s Visibility, and the gap, colour banded so the largest gaps stand out. Sort by gap to see where you are losing most, then select the prompts to write for. Only active prompts of type Brand, Product or Merchant are eligible. Paused and draft prompts are left out of the list.

Step 2: Ground in sources

The step lists the sources most frequently cited by AI assistants for the selected prompts, filterable by model. Select up to five; the cap applies to select all as well. These sources ground the generated content. When you start from the Sources or Citations tab, this step opens with the citation already selected.

Step 3: Format and language

Blog Post format and English are available.

Content brief review

Instead of an article, the first output is an editable content brief: target topic, target prompts, target platforms, top cited pages and the proposed structure. Review and edit it, then select Regenerate Content Brief to commit the changes.
Brief edits are only committed when you select Regenerate Content Brief. Editing and navigating away discards them.
The status Content Brief Review is set by the system when a brief is generated and cannot be selected manually.

Full content, review and export

Once the brief is approved, the full article is generated from it. You can:
  • edit inline in the rich text editor;
  • select Regenerate Content to re-run generation from the approved brief, which replaces the current draft;
  • open Version History to preview and restore an earlier version, which is appended as a new current version rather than overwriting history;
  • open the Input tab to see every input that produced the piece, with citation links;
  • export: copy as Markdown or plain text, or download as .md, .txt or .html.
Brief generation and content generation each take a few minutes.

FAQ

Can it publish directly to my CMS?

No. Published is a status you set. Export the piece as Markdown, plain text or an HTML file and publish it where you already publish.

Will the content match my brand tone of voice?

Not yet. Brand Kit is visible but not configurable. The content is grounded in your visibility data and the cited sources, and you should edit it before publishing.

Can I tell it to rewrite a section a certain way?

Not with a free-text instruction. Use inline editing, or Regenerate Content to re-run generation from the approved brief.

Does regenerating lose my edits?

Regenerating replaces the current draft, but Version History lets you preview and restore any earlier version. Restoring appends a new current version rather than overwriting history.

Is the content unique?

The content is generated, not copied. Citations are used as grounding and reference, not as text to reproduce. Run your normal editorial review before publishing.

A prompt I expected is not in Step 1. Why?

Only active prompts of type Brand, Product or Merchant are eligible. Check the prompt’s status under Configuration > Prompts.
